Clicky Clicky Stuff

OnSong is basically here to let you stop worryin' about literally everything else & just vibe with your music. The OnSong interface is chopped up into these totally important zones:

The Snooze Bar

The status bar is your OS's gift to you—it's got the time, WiFi drama, & how much battery you've got left before everything goes dark.

The Control Panel

The menubar is where all the magic happens. Tap here to boss around your library & the songs you're currently stalkin'.

The Main Event

Like, 90% of what you see is your current song doin' its thing. There are some sneaky overlay zones that pop up with tools so you can actually look like you know what you're doin' while you're performin'.

The Go-Time Buttons

Down in the bottom right corner lives the live bar—AKA your best friend during a gig. Big ol' buttons for autoscrollin', blastin' your backing track, clickety-clickety metronome action, & togglein' that impromptu WiFi mode.

Make an Account (Seriously, Do It)

First time you crack open OnSong? Buckle up—you gotta create yourself an account or log back into your OnSong account. & no, this ain't your Apple ID—this is its cooler cousin. Already signed in? Congrats, you might see the Getting Started screen instead & we're all happy.

Oh, & you'll probably get bugged about push notifications. OnSong wants to freak you out about emergencies or time-sensitive stuff. Real original, we know.

Finger Swipes & Taps

There's a handful of optional gestures you can throw around to speedrun to the menubar & songs menu. Fancy, right?

Squished Mode

Usin' OnSong on an iPhone or iPod Touch? Surprise—the whole interface gets squeezed into a totally different flavor to actually work on those tiny screens.
