Srsly, Pick a Layout

The Hamburger → Format thing lets u jank around with how your song looks. Plot twist: there's like, a LOT of stuff u can tweak. Buckle up, bestie.

The style preferences menu is ONLY for text-based chord charts, srsly. If you imported some random PDF or whatever, you gotta Extract & Edit It Like a Boss or Downgrade to the Boring Text Version.

Fonts (aka The Typeface Rodeo)

Four buttons up top let u pick which font makes ur song look less janky. Peep the options:

• Georgia is all curvy & serif-y. Some peeps think it's easier on the eyes. YMMV tho.
• Helvetica is clean, no-frills, & basically made for chord charts. This is what we picked for u (ur welcome).
• Courier is that fixed-width monospace thing—clutch for linin' up chords if ur into that vibe.
• Marker is handwritten & skinny AF, so u can cram more stuff on the page. Space-savin' vibes.

Font Sizes (The Goldilocks Slider Zone)

Below the font buttons are four sliders. Each one controls a diff element on ur chord chart. There's a power button next to each one too—tap it to grey it out & turn it off. Slide anywhere to adjust, or tap the edges to move one point at a time like a total perfectionist.

• Header is the song title. Srsly. Range is 12–38 pts. Default is 21 pts. Kill it if u need more room for actual chords & lyrics.
• Metadata is artist, key, tempo & time sig—all that nerdy stuff below the header. Shrink or nuke it to free up real estate for the good bits. Ranges 6–30 pts. Default is 14 pts.
• Lyrics is basically everything else on screen. Turn it off if ur just playin' an instrument & don't care about words. Ranges 6–30 pts. Default is 14 pts.
• Section Labels are the "Chorus," "Verse," "Bridge" labels. U can size & toggle these separately like a control freak. Default is 14 pts.
• Chords sit above or inside lyrics & can get their own styling so they POP. Turn 'em off for singers or musicians who already memorized everything (show-offs). Ranges 6–30 pts. Default is 14 pts.

Line Spacing (Breathe Room)

Wanna jam more on screen? Smash that line spacing down. Want ur eyes to chill? Crank it up. Tap the lil icons left & right of the sliders to micro-adjust like the obsessive person u are. Ranges 0.7–1.3. Default is 1.0.

Chord Highlight (aka The Neon Glow-Up)

This is the BG color that makes chords stand out from the page. Defaults include Clear (boring), yellow, orange, green, turquoise, purple, magenta & grey—all at 50% opacity so they don't burn ur retinas. Wanna get weird with custom colors? Smash that Color Picker button.

Chord Style (Text Flex)

Make ur chord text bold, italic, & a custom color so everyone knows ur chords are FIRE. Black is default, but we also got red, blue, green, light blue & purple. Mix & match highlight colors & text colors for max drama (just don't pick combos that r impossible to read, ok bestie?). Customize away with the Color Picker.
