OnSong can send tempo changes usin' MSB/LSB MIDI commands. Y'all can totally change or mess with the MIDI commands that OnSong's using on this screen. Go nuts.

MIDI Commands (aka The Bleepin' Nerd Stuff)

This field's got space-delimited MIDI commands. By default, OnSong's all like "CC106 CC107" which uses Control Change #106 as the MSB of the tempo & Control Change #107 as the LSB value. ZOMG. You can change these control changes, or add MIDI commands in pairs to this list if you're feelin' fancy. For instance, if you wanted to send tempo on CC106/107 & CC54/55, you'd enter: CC106 CC107 CC54 CC55

You ain't limited to control changes & could send other types of events if you're that freakin' advanced. Like, you could send Note On events usin' the "N" prefix, or Program Change events usin' the "PC" prefix. Srsly. We're not judgin'. Okay, maybe a lil' bit.

MSB Tempo Value (Math! Ugh.)

This field determines how OnSong splits up the tempo value between your MIDI commands. The default value is 128. This means any tempo higher than 127 (MIDI's got limits, amirite—it maxes out at 0 to 127) will get split like a divorce settlement. For instance, a tempo of 138 would result in the value of "1" bein' sent with the MSB tempo command, & a value of "10" bein' sent with the LSB tempo command. The tempo then gets calculated by MSB * 128 + LSB. Chef's kiss. We know, it's hot.
