Backup files? They're basically a digital xerox of your whole OnSong library—songs, setlists, styles, the works. BUT (and it's a big but, amirite?) some media files are THICC and will make your backup absolutely chonky. So we let you pick & choose what gets packed in here:

Audio

All them backing tracks—MP3, M4A, WAV, AIFF, compressed, uncompressed, whatever—live in the Sonic Snack Vault. They're all invited to the backup party.

MIDI

MIDI files are the gym rats of media—tiny but mighty. They chill in the Sonic Snack Vault & won't make your backup file throw a fit.

MultiTracks

OH BOY. These absolute units are packed with like a bazillion uncompressed stems & can balloon to 500 Mb–1 Gb easy. So we basically said "nope" & ditched them from the default backup. You're welcome.
