Stick It. Don't Lose It.
By default, annotations get slapped onto the virtual page of your chord chart or sheet music. Which means they'll scroll around like a fidgety toddler when you move stuff. But hey, you can also be that person who "pins" annotations to literally anything so they stay put & don't bounce around. Cool flex, we guess.
First, you can pin an annotation using the context menu by tapping & holding (iOS/iPadOS) or right-clicking (macOS). Then you can pick "Pin..." to unlock a whole lotta options. Here's the tea...
The Sheet (Aka: Default Chaos)
This is the default & pins the annotation to the virtual page. When you scroll, the sticky note throws a tantrum & scrolls with you. Riveting.
Song (Aka: Clingy)
Will pin the annotation to the song so it's basically glued there as long as you're starin' at that song. The annotation doesn't scroll & is stuck to your device screen instead like a remora fish.
Book (Aka: Book Buddy)
Will pin the annotation to the book you're currently eyeballin'. That means the annotation will haunt your screen even when you're hoppin' between songs in the book. Try to view somethin' else & poof—annotation vanishes. (this option only shows up when you're actually lookin' at a book, obvs)
Set (Aka: Set in Stone)
Will pin the annotation to the set you're currently checkin' out. That means the annotation will cling to your screen even when you're jumpin' between songs in the set. Switch to a different set & it ghostes you. (this option only shows up when you're actually viewin' a set, obvs)
Desk (Aka: The Permanent Roommate)
Will pin the annotation to the desk meanin' it's always there starin' at you no matter what else pops up on screen. Browse books, sets, songs, whatever—this sticky note is your new best friend & will never leave you alone.
