Do Stuff

You can set OnSong to go absolutely bonkers & do weird stuff when you tap the screen or stomp on a foot pedal like some kinda rock star. Here's what you can make it do (try not to break anything):

• Nope does absolutely nothing. Revolutionary, we know.
• Capo Up cranks the capo up one fret. Fancy.
• Capo Down yanks the capo down one fret. Less fancy.
• Scroll Up scrolls the song up like magic. Using a foot pedal? Stomp at the tippy-top & it'll yeet you to the previous song. You're welcome.
• Scroll Down scrolls the song down (shocking, we know). Foot pedal at the bottom? Congrats, next song incoming.
• Next Song jets you to the next tune in your setlist.
• Previous Song rewinds you back one song. Time travel, basically.
• Next Slide blasts forward when you're projecting lyrics. Living dangerously.
• Previous Slide slides backward through your lyrics. Ooh, fancy.
• Show/Hide Menu Bar toggles that ugly menu bar on & off so you can pretend you have a real stage setup.
• Show Songs List pops up your song menu. Using MIDI & stuff? This also hides it. Thrilling.
• Scroll Faster shrinks the song by 30 seconds so autoscroll speeds up. Buckle up.
• Scroll Slower puffs up the song by 30 seconds so autoscroll chill\u{2019}s out. Breathe, dude.
• Toggle Audio play, pause or stop your backing track. Actual power.
• Toggle Autoscroll starts or pauses the autoscroll. You\u{2019}re in charge now.
• Toggle Capo flips the capo on or off. Shocking versatility.
• Toggle Low Light Mode dims everything to death — black background, white text. Perfect for when you wanna look moody.
• Toggle Metronome turns the click on & off. Tick tock, baby.
• Toggle MIDI Start/Stop sends MIDI commands. Very technical. Very cool. (We don\u{2019}t fully get it either.)
• Mute Metronome shuts up the click but keeps it ticking silently. Great for practice if you\u{2019}re a masochist who wants to prove you don\u{2019}t need a click to stay in time.
• Tap For Tempo tap your way to a new tempo. Pro tip: don\u{2019}t use this with laggy pedals like the AirTurn BT-105 unless you enjoy accidental double-taps.
• Tempo Up bumps the tempo up by 1 BPM. One BPM. Living on the edge.
• Tempo Down drops the tempo by 1 BPM. Chill vibes.
• Transpose Up shifts the song up half a step. Math!
• Transpose Down shifts the song down half a step. More math!
• Volume Up cranks the device volume up 5%. Louder = better, right?
• Volume Down tones it down 5%. Your neighbors\u{2019} ears thank you.
• Blackout Lyrics nukes the lyrics from orbit during projection — no text, no background. Total darkness. Very dramatic.
• Clear Lyrics hides or shows just the lyrics while keeping your background image or video. Showtime.
• Playback Pitch plays the song\u{2019}s pitch for a cappella nerds. Configure it in the Metadata Editor of the Song Editor.
• Shift Up jumps to the next gear in your configured gears. Shift happens.
• Shift Down backs up to the previous gear in your configured gears. Downshift energy.
• Unshift resets to gear #1 in your configured gears. Back to square one.
