The Fancy Sound File Thingy

Okay so like, M4A files? They're basically the audio part of MPEG-4 movies (you know, without the boring video stuff). Fancy name: "MPEG-4 Audio Layer." Apple calls it Apple Lossless or ALE because Apple loves makin' up names for things. Bottom line: it's a codec that squeezes your audio down real small without actually losin' quality. ZOMG, compression that doesn't suck! Revolutionary, amirite.

Anyway, when you yeet your audio files into OnSong, boom — they land in your OnSong audio media library. Then you can link 'em to your chord charts as backing tracks so you're not just standin' there in silence lookin' like a total doofus.
