Read The Bleepin’ Manual

No Hands? We Got U.

When you're on stage, you already have plenty of strings, buttons, keys, & pedals to juggle. ZOMG, thank the bleepin' music gods you can run OnSong totally hands-free so you can actually, like, play instead of tap-tap-tappin' away like some kinda stressed-out robot.

The Setlist Thing

First things first: make a set & throw your songs in the order you're gonna actually perform 'em. Revolutionary, amirite? Now you can bounce between tunes without screamin' at the screen or gettin' your grubby fingers all over it.

Foot Pedals (aka Your New Best Friends)

So you got your setlist goin'. Yeah, you could tap the screen edges like some kinda caveman. But wouldn't it be absolutely bonkers to use your feet instead?

OnSong plays nice with a buncha popular foot pedals to make your stage setup actually not terrible. These bad boys scroll & flip through your setlist straight outta the box. Wanna get fancier? Head to Foot Pedal Setup & go full nerd mode.

Autoscroll (the "I'm Too Lazy to Move" Button)

Or—& here's a wild idea—just let autoscroll do the heavy liftin'. It slowly creeps from top to bottom of your chord chart over whatever time span you set. Feelin' extra? Turn on Settings » Live Settings » Live Bar » Autoscroll » Autoscroll Continually & OnSong will literally auto-jump to the next song when autoscroll hits the floor. It's like magic, except it's just code.

MIDI Integration (Yes, It's As Nerdy As It Sounds)

Wanna trigger songs from your MIDI-compatible software? (lookin' at you, Ableton Live) You got it. OnSong listens to MIDI commands & pops up songs on your device like a trained poodle. Plus scroll & navigate your sets with MIDI too. Start your sequence & OnSong will literally follow along like the good little app it is.

Connected Devices (aka The Band Is Finally Gettin' It Together)

Runnin' multiple devices? Sharin' your screen with the stage monitor thing? Say hello to keepin' your whole crew hands-free. Here's the 411:

  • Connect uses WiFi to share your library & stream chord charts during the gig. How very 2024 of us.
  • OnCue is basically OnSong Connect's chill cousin—same vibes but with Bluetooth so you don't need the WiFi drama.
  • Stage Monitors turns your dusty old HDTVs into fancy virtual music stands. Your audience thinks you're fancy now.
